Millions (and millions) of people have trouble falling and staying asleep each night. Whether it’s stress, the sleep environment, young children or a full moon that’s keeping you awake, the results are always the same. Lack of sleep = Misery.
While we all need rest, the part that’s a tough pill to swallow for some people is that sleep takes up so much time. Finding eight hours each day to rest seems impossible with all the other things on the go. Sleep is often the first thing that gets sacrificed when responsibilities and plans pile up.
But what if there was a way to maximize the time we rest? To multitask while we sleep? Of course there are all sorts of ways people try to do this, listening to foreign languages, for example, hoping that the words stick in our brains. These efforts aren’t always successful.
There is a new way that people are making the most of their sleep, coming in the form of fibers. Yep, you read that right. It’s called CELLIANT fiber technology, and it’s weaving its way into the world of sleep.
Here’s how CELLIANT works in a nutshell
CELLIANT is produced using a total of 13 naturally occurring, thermoreactive minerals, including: Titanium dioxide, silicone dioxide, and aluminum oxide. The minerals are ground up into an ultra-fine powder and then mixed with polyethylene teraphthalate (PET) to create the CELLIANT master batch. Then a liquid polyester resin is added to the master batch and turned into a fiber which next becomes CELLIANT fabric.
Ok, get to the good part — how do fibers made of minerals increase your sleep efficiency?
Because the fibers are made with thermoreactive minerals, these fabrics convert body heat into infrared energy and then re-emit it back into the body. This triggers vasodilation and creates more Nitric Oxide (NO) in our blood vessels, in turn increases blood flow. Increased oxygenated blood flow has many positive effects, including improved muscle recovery, improved endurance, better heart functionality and improved brain function.
In other words, thanks to the presence of thermoreactive minerals, the CELLIANT fabric has the ability to absorb the visible and infrared light energy that our bodies naturally give off.
The CELLIANT fabric changes the wavelength of this radiant energy and converts it back to infrared energy, and then reflects it back into the body. Here, tissue reabsorbs it and experiences improved circulation and increased tissue oxygenation, allowing it to function more efficiently.
As a result, users may feel fewer aches and pains throughout their body, and recover quicker. This all makes the hours we spend sleeping a more efficient use of our time.
CELLIANT fibers are used in all sorts of sleep materials, including mattress toppers. These, combined with natural latex mattresses have improved the lives of a great many people. A good sleep means a better life, and a body that recovers quicker is going to work better and last longer.
